Design Process

There is no doubt court shoes are on trend, everyone in our office wears them and they have been a long time on our to-do list.  When deciding to do our own take on the classic court shoe, we tore apart many pairs of shoes ranging from $99 to $500 luxury brands and took to the drawing board to build the ultimate sneaker.

1. They had to be Quality Full Grain Real Leather.
   Synthetic is cheap to manufacture but wears badly over time and leaves your feet sweaty and smelly, we spent over 6 months sourcing and testing, with the final product full grain leather used coming from a premium sustainable tannery that supplies many high-end luxury brands. 
2. They had to be value for money. 
   We're not a hype brand, our vision is always to create the most premium product for a good price.  Not only are these unique, but they are also one of the most affordable full-grain premium leather all-white on the market. 
3. They needed to be comfortable for all-day wear.
   All the team have a pair, and we have been wearing prototypes for almost 12 months now, at the office, at the track, at the beach and in the car park. 
4. They needed to have a high-top equivalent
   While most of the guys in the office wear lows, the boss prefers high tops. We are still testing them, and they should be launching mid-2023!
5. They needed to be uniquely HardTuned JDM. 
   We are car guys, so we want automotive detailing and feature love for the areas of Japan we spend most of our time in.
6. And finally...they needed to be customizable. 
   Again, we don't drive standard cars. why should our shoes not come with customizable options? We're keen to see what other personalization people do with their shoes!
